Apfelstrudel
You need:
300g flour
Salt + 4 big spoons of oil
1 egg yolk
8 appels
100 g bread crumbs
60g sugar
1 small spoon cinnamon
70 g almond slices
60 g rumraisins
juice of one lemon
40 g of melted butter and some flour to put in the baking pan
powdered sugar to decorate
How to make it:
Filter the flour and add a little salt
Make a hole in the middle and put 3 spoons of oil, 150 ml water and the egg yolk. After that mix it to a dough
Make two balls and brush them with oil. Put them in a plastic wrap and leave them for 2 hours
Preheat the oven at 200 degrees and cut the apples in small pieces
Roast the bread crumbs, sugar and cinnemon. Mix the apple pieces, almonds and rumraisins with the lemonjuice in a bowl
Cover the dough with some flour and roll it out on a cloth
Put the dough over the back of your hand pull it out until it is very thin. Cover it with the melted butter
Put half of the filling in the first dough: Leave 5 cm space and then spread the dough in a wide band
Roll the Strudel with the help of the cloth. Put the Strduel with the end down in a form and make th second strudel.
Cover the pieces with mleted butter and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes. After that let it cool down and decorate it with powdered sugar
